About Us
The friends of Colin Duffy committee was set up following the unlawful and unjust arrest and detention of Colin.  The commitee consists of family members and close friends, most of whom campaigned when Colin was previously unjustly imprisoned.  The committee have also enlisted the support of many others throughout the Six Counties as well as further afield.

The aim of the campaign committee is to secure Colin's release.  In order to achieve this we need your help.  We call on all those who believe in justice and human rights to support our campaign.  We welcome any assistance you may offer which would aid us in our campaign.

How You Can Help

Organize an information session in your local area or with your local community group.  The campaign is seeking to hold information sessions with all interested people to inform them of what has occurred.

Sign up to the family's demand for Colin's immediate release.

Write to the British prime minister, Gordon Brown, to An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, and to each of your locally elected representatives outlining your concern and the need to meet the family's request for the entire history of Colin's persecution by British state forces to be investigated and put to rights.

Keep in touch with the latest news and developments in our campaign to have Colin released.

Not Alone
Our family would like to point out that Colin's case is by no means unique.  Others are also being wrongly and unjustly imprisoned by the British state.  We would ask that you bear this fact in mind and also give solidarity and support to their families also.
Let them know that they are no alone or isolated.
An Appeal From Colin's Eldest Daughter

Dear friends,
As most of you may be aware, I spent most of my early childhood years with the hardship of my dad not being around because of injustice. I have known the personal difficulties and suffering caused through the previous imprisonment of my father - imprisonment which was eventually proven to have been both unjust and unjustified I do not want to see the same burdens and hardships placed upon my younger brothers and sisters.  If you can assist in any way to help secure my dad's release from yet another period of unjustified imprisonment, be assured that you will not only have my thanks, but that of my younger brothers and sisters.
Yours gratefully,
Caitríona Duffy
