Upper Springfield Republicans launched a new news sheet ,offering an uncensored voice to Republicans. 3000 copies were delivered tonight (Thursday 13th May) to most homes in the area the rest will receive a copy tomorrow.  Included in the news sheet is a letter from republican POW Harry Fitzsimmons who has since been removed from the republican wing to the isolation unit ('boards').

MAGHABERRY GAOL PROTEST

SUNDAY May 16TH 4.00 PM

A protest will be held this Sunday the 16th of May at 4.00 pm outside Maghaberry prison in support of our POWs.

All Republicans are called upon to show their support for our POWs and come together to support this protest.

This protest has been organised by family, friends and ex POWs.
