A protest will take place at Maghaberry Gaol on Sunday 4th July 2010.  Assemble at the visitors car park at 3.30.

The protest has been organised by the Families, Friends and Ex-POWs. It has been several weeks from the last outing there, which provided a much needed morale boost for our POWs.

Since then the POWs have embarked on a 'dirty protest' having been forced to find a way to dispose of their waste out the doors. Conditions are now becoming a cause for major concern with reports of sickness on the wing: Some prisoners are experiencing bouts of vomiting and other stomach ailments.

We are calling on all republicans to attend our demonstration to show support for the POWs.
